US-based online trading platform Robinhood has unveiled an exclusive non-fungible token (NFT) giveaway in collaboration with Notable.art, a platform focusing on the convergence of digital and physical art. Robinhood Wallet users are now presented with an opportunity to acquire exclusive digital sketches from the renowned American artist Hunt Slonem.
The giveaway, consisting of four distinct NFT mints, will occur once every two weeks, featuring different artworks by Slonem. Accessible through the Web3 tab in the Robinhood Wallet app on iOS, the NFTs will be minted on Notable and promptly delivered to users’ wallets.
Notable.art is generously covering network fees for the first 10,000 giveaway participants, after which participants will be responsible for any associated fees. The NFT mints are scheduled for February 27, March 12, March 26, and April 9, presenting a unique opportunity for Robinhood Wallet users.
In an innovative twist, participants collecting all four NFTs will have the chance to purchase a limited edition physical print of one of the sketches. These prints, limited to 400 in total (100 prints per NFT), will be available for purchase from April 23 to May 6, or until they sell out.
The NFTs themselves are priced at $1,500 each, making fine art collecting more accessible to a wider audience. Zain Talyarkhan, CEO of Notable, emphasized the platform’s commitment to breaking down barriers in fine art collecting by offering unique digital artworks complemented by 1-of-1 museum-quality prints at accessible price points.
Johann Kerbrat, Crypto General Manager at Robinhood, sees this collaboration as an opportunity to enhance access to Web3. The Robinhood Wallet, according to Kerbrat, is playing a pivotal role in breaking down barriers and facilitating easier access to Web3, allowing users to explore new projects and initiatives that might have been challenging otherwise.
