OKX Launches Tailored Crypto Services in Netherlands

Unlocking Opportunities: OKX Enters the Dutch Market

Major global cryptocurrency exchange OKX has made a significant stride by officially launching its services in the Netherlands. This move not only signifies OKX’s relentless expansion across Europe but also opens up a world of possibilities for Dutch users. With the introduction of a local trading platform and the innovative Web3 wallet, OKX aims to revolutionize crypto trading for the Dutch audience.

Seamless Transactions, Local Flavor

On June 3, OKX announced the debut of its centralized crypto exchange (CEX) and the OKX Wallet tailored for the Dutch market. Integrating seamlessly with the local payment system, iDeal, OKX ensures hassle-free euro deposits and withdrawals for its Dutch clientele. This integration, coupled with support for the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), guarantees a smooth transactional experience for European users.

Diverse Offerings, Tailored Solutions

Dutch residents now have access to an array of services provided by OKX. The CEX offers spot cryptocurrency trading, staking, and more, boasting a selection of at least 60 trading pairs paired with the euro. The OKX Wallet empowers users to take full custody of their crypto assets, aligning with OKX’s commitment to user-centric innovation. “The launch of our centralized exchange and OKX Wallet in the Netherlands is a significant milestone in our long-term commitment to the country,” emphasized OKX Europe general manager Erald Ghoos, highlighting the company’s dedication to serving Dutch customers.

Strategic Expansion, Firm Commitment

OKX’s journey in the Netherlands dates back to 2021 when it operated under the banner of Okcoin Europe, duly registered with De Nederlandsche Bank as a crypto services provider. The recent rebranding to OKX and the subsequent official launch reaffirm the exchange’s dedication to the Dutch market. Holding a virtual financial asset service provider license in Malta further solidifies OKX’s position as a trusted player in the cryptocurrency space. To celebrate the launch, OKX offers a new user bonus of up to 50 euros ($54) for Dutch residents signing up before July 3.

Charting the Future

As OKX continues its strategic expansion in Europe, its entry into the Dutch market symbolizes a commitment to providing comprehensive and user-friendly cryptocurrency services. The integration with local payment systems and the introduction of the OKX Wallet underscore the exchange’s efforts to cater to the specific needs of Dutch users. Despite recent withdrawals from certain jurisdictions, OKX’s dedication to the Netherlands and the broader European market remains steadfast.
