Immutable Boosts Web3 Gaming with Transak Integration

Immutable, a Web3 gaming company, is integrating Transak as the exclusive payment service provider for its zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM). This integration will enable Transak’s on-ramp, off-ramp, and NFT payment services, facilitating fiat and Web3-based payments within Immutable’s gaming infrastructure.

Transak’s payment rail, supporting credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, will power in-game transactions for digital assets in Immutable’s flagship games, including Guild of Guardians, Gods Unchained, and Cross The Ages. According to Harshit Gangwar, the Head of Marketing at Transak, the payment infrastructure will facilitate in-game transactions for digital assets.

“These products will be used by hundreds of high-quality games over the next couple of years. The majority of those games are scheduled to go live in 2024.”

Transak, a trusted payments infrastructure provider used by over 350 applications, has a strong presence in the Web3 gaming space. Its services are actively employed by users in major titles supported by Web3 gaming venture capital firm Animoca Brands, such as Decentraland, Splinterlands, and MotoGP Ignite.

Transak enables users to pay for cryptocurrencies and NFTs with over 20 payment methods across 160 countries, with fees ranging from 0.49% to 3.49%, depending on payment methods and geographical combinations.

The collaboration between Transak and Immutable features custom pricing advantageous to users, offering a range of payment options for more than 170 cryptocurrencies across 75 blockchains.

As the Web3 gaming sector continues to attract investment, this partnership enhances the payment infrastructure supporting in-game transactions and strengthens the position of both companies in the evolving landscape of blockchain-enabled gaming.
